MEDIA GROUP HONOURS Mr EMMANUEL OKORO WITH DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP MERIT AWARD 2026.




The South East Media Forum has Honoured Mr Emmanuel Okoro the Director of finance and Accounts University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Ituku Ozalla Enugu with this year's annual Award for outstanding leadership of the UNTH finance and Accounts department. 


In a Citation read at the event by the Zonal Chairman of the Media group Comrade Okolo Norbert,the DFA was described as a game Changer who brought an innovative Leadership qualities to bear in the department that has become a reference When issues bothering on effective financial management is considered.


 The Citation further explained that Okoro is a team Player who delegates authority to his colleagues and Monitors them effectively hence the System is working seamlessly.


 Responding to the Award the Awadee is thanked SEMF for finding him worthy to be So honored by an outside unbiased body and Used the opportunity to thank the Chief Medical Director of UNTH  Prof Onodugo Donatus Obinna  for his Leadership qualities that has become a hall mark and all departments have keyed into his leadership ideas. 


He noted that the Award will Spur him to work harder as handling a workforce of over five thousand people has its Challenges he Concluded.

ENUGU MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT BANS TRAFFIC TASKFORCE FROM ALL FEDERAL HIGHWAYS.

  The Enugu State Ministry of Transport has  banned all manner  of Traffic Taskforce officials from federal highways in Enugu Metropolis with immediate effect.  The Press Release which was signed by the Commander Enugu State Traffic Management Authority Mr Kenneth Aniebonam UGWU Stated that fake MOT task force officials have been having a field day but must Stop henceforth as the ministry has Set up a Special task force officials to put an end to this obnoxious Practice that is giving the MOT a bad name before the Public and the Motorists.  The release Stated that the Ministry  taskforce officials have apprehended some of the fake officials while extorting Motorists in Enugu Metropolis recently and are currently facing interrogation and Prosecution.
