MEDIA GROUP HONOURS PROF MRS MODESTA AMAKA EGIYI.

 


The South East Media Forum has honoured Prof Mrs Modesta Amaka EGIYI the Bursar of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu with their annual Distinguished Leadership Merit Award for 2025/26 as the winner of the Award for Bursar's in Private Universities. 


In a Citation read during the Ceremony in Enugu by the Zonal Chairman of SEMF Comrade Norbert Okolo described her as a financial expert who has through an effective process brought about an innovative and transparent accounting system that has become a reference point when issues bothering on management of universities accounting system is concerned.


 The Citation further described Professor Modesta as a team Player who delegates authority to her Surbordinates in such a beautiful manner that ensures that every one is Capable of delivering a world class process that has made it possible for Students and the management to have a Stress free financial transactions in the School.

 A trail blazer, Workaholic focused intelligent firm but very empathic the Citation noted of the Bursar.

Reacting to the Award Professor Modesta thanked the forum for finding her worthy of the honour.

 Praised the University authority for giving her the opportunity to Serve as the Bursar and on her honour Pledged to Continue to deliver on her Mandate a financial Services to all and Sundry that will be worthy of emulation.

ENUGU MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT BANS TRAFFIC TASKFORCE FROM ALL FEDERAL HIGHWAYS.

  The Enugu State Ministry of Transport has  banned all manner  of Traffic Taskforce officials from federal highways in Enugu Metropolis with immediate effect.  The Press Release which was signed by the Commander Enugu State Traffic Management Authority Mr Kenneth Aniebonam UGWU Stated that fake MOT task force officials have been having a field day but must Stop henceforth as the ministry has Set up a Special task force officials to put an end to this obnoxious Practice that is giving the MOT a bad name before the Public and the Motorists.  The release Stated that the Ministry  taskforce officials have apprehended some of the fake officials while extorting Motorists in Enugu Metropolis recently and are currently facing interrogation and Prosecution.
