ENUGU VIO CHIEF: ENGR. CHIME VALENTINE COMMENDED

The Chief Vehicle Inspection Officer, Enugu State, Engr. Valentine Chime, has been lauded as an Administrator Par Excellence by a concerned commercial motorist in Enugu.


The motorist, Mr. Ochenwari , said that while going about his daily hustle, he had an altercation with VIO officials in Enugu metropolis who insisted on taking him to their office.


In a strongly worded statement, Mr. Ochenwari said that as a law-abiding citizen, he simply followed the officials to their office at Independence Layout.  

He was amazed at how what he thought would be a very heavy fine from the Chief Vehicle Inspection Officer turned out to be an interesting testament to a study in public administration he had never witnessed in his life.


> "The way and manner, Engr. Valentine Chime handled traffic offenders who were brought before him was, to say the least, very encouraging and should be emulated by other public servants."


He further noted that Engr. Chime’s listening skills and calm disposition were exactly what the office called for.  

He treated every offense with a human face, devoid of shouting or harassment.



Engr. Valentine Chime, he concluded, embodies every attribute of a seasoned, experienced, and compassionate public administrator that should be emulated by other public servants in similar positions of authority.

ENUGU MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT BANS TRAFFIC TASKFORCE FROM ALL FEDERAL HIGHWAYS.
