FAKE TRAFFIC OPERATIORS ARRESTED BY MOT COMMANDER.

 

Against the back ground of the recent Public announcement by the Ministry of Transport Commander ESTMA Mr Kenneth UGWU that fake MOT operators are all over Enugu Metropolis arresting Motorists and extorting huge amounts of money from them. 



In a Swift operation early this morning the Commander ESTMA with other task force officials Swooped on these fake operators and arrested them at the T junction Abakpa area of Enugu Metropolis. 


Some of them were wearing MOT T shirts and Some in uniform that had no name tags or numbers and some so shabbily dressed, they were promptly taken to the Ministry of Transport Office where Police was invited to take them to their office for proper investigation and Prosecution.


 In the same vein the Commissioner for Transport reiterated that the operation will be continuous until the Motorists in Enugu are free from these unscrupulous elements.
