My fellow compatriots, dedicated party faithful, and the resilient people of Enugu State, I stand before you today, humbled by your unrivalled commitment to the cause of progress. The journey we have embarked upon is not merely an electoral exercise; it is a movement, a defining crusade to reclaim the destiny of our beloved state and restore the sanctity of the ballot

The recent conduct of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) gubernatorial primary has been shrouded in a fog of administrative ambiguity and procedural contradictions. We recognize that the air is thick with speculation, and the silence of the authorities has left many in a state of understandable agitation.

I want to use this medium to call upon every supporter, volunteer, and comrade to remain calm, disciplined, and resolute. In the lexicon of true democracy, chaos is the enemy of justice. While we observe the anomalies that have stained this exercise, we do so with the calculated patience of a statesman and the unyielding iron of a patriot.

Our team is presently engaged in a rigorous, forensic audit of the events that transpired. We are monitoring every development with meticulous precision, and we are holding all relevant stakeholders to account. 

Let it be known that our silence is not weakness; it is the strategic composure of a leader who understands that victory is not merely won in the fervor of the moment, but through the rigorous application of due process and the absolute defense of the truth. We are not interested in the hollow theatrics of political agitation; we are committed to the intellectual and moral imperative of justice.


As a scholar of democratic governance and a lifelong comrade of the common man, my fidelity lies with the collective will of the people of Enugu State. We shall not be silenced, nor shall we be diverted by the machinations of those who fear the light of transparency.


So do not be seduced by the siren song of rumors or the provocations of those who thrive in disorder. Our objective is singular, our resolve is absolute, and our cause is righteous. We shall continue to conduct ourselves with the dignity that this moment demands and the maturity that true leadership requires.


Rest assured, every decision we take shall be a calculated strike for justice, guided by wisdom, and anchored in the enduring interest of the people. Our collective vision remains unshakeable.
