A PROFILE OF ANDREW IJEGALU CHIDOZIE. A WORTHY SON OF UDI NORTH CONSTITUENCY ENUGU STATE.


Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given” were the saying on 29th August. When the family of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvanus Ijegalu of Umuisike in Umuokoloma, Affa Udi LGA  received the arrival of Andrew Ijegalu Chidozie (Agujiegbe).


As the tender Andrew grew in status and in wisdom, he was enrolled into Abakpa Nike primary school III, Enugu state in 1989/90. Agujiegbe as fondly called left no one in doubt in 1995, when he had his first school leaving certificate and was acknowledged as honest and disciplined.

It was on this compelling performance that in 1996 he enrolled at Amozalla secondary school, Affa, Enugu state with his usual doggedness and on the merit of his documents.

Andrew Ijegalu Chidozie was admitted into the Institute of management and Technology in the year 2004 to study Chemical Engineering and this marked the beginning of the career that brought him, to a limelight as the Biblical saying “Just man” that his light shines more and more… And in 2006 he had his National Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

In 2008, fortune smiled on Andrew when he was offered a provisional admission again into Institute of management and Technology to study Chemical Engineering at Higher National Diploma (HND 2010) level in the department of Engineering. His dynamic nature and ability therefore made him to be elected as a Senator representing OND chemical engineering of the Institution. Also, during his HND Programme he was the Social Director of the department of Chemical Engineering.

Not minding his primary achievement, Agujiegbe with his usual humility made the department proud by the ways and manner he organized and conducted himself during his tenure.

Andrew Ijegalu Chidozie went on assignment i.e. National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) in the year2012 at Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja (office of the coordinating Minister of Finance)

Due to his high sense of humility, competency and integrity, Andrew Ijegalu Chidozie was recognized and honored with Philanthropic pillar award by Institute of management and Technology, Enugu, Chemical Engineering Alumni 2021.

By the grace of God least any man boasts, he has been privileged to engage in charity ventures within and outside his community.

He is the CEO of A C Ijegalu Concept Services and Pulgnal Nigeria Limited that handles many contracts both in petroleum products and constructions cut a cross Nigeria.

Due to his leadership skills and passion for humanity, he was able to established a transportation company which enable him to control his numerous business, this galumade him AGUJIEGBE.     

He is happily married and bless with children. As the 2027 election fast approaches, Ijegalu is under Pressure to come and replicate his business Success with a move to represent the Udi North in the State House of Assembly. From all indication he will not abandon this Clarion call by his Constituency to ensure the democratic dividends gets to them as his antecedents before now Shows he will be a round peg in a round hole.
