Kwankwasiyya Leader Dr. Hillary Eze Kenechukwu Condemns Internal Friction, Rallies Support for ADC Alliance
ENUGU – Dr. Hillary Eze Kenechukwu, a prominent industrialist and leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement in Enugu, has issued a stern critique of individuals working against the vision of a "New Nigeria" championed by the Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso alliance.
The hotel magnate expressed deep disappointment toward those within the South East who are opposing the newly elected Chairmen of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) or attempting to create factions within the party. Dr. Kenechukwu made an impassioned plea for the opposing factions to sheathe their swords and embrace a path of reconciliation. He emphasized that the pursuit of personal or fractional interests must be set aside to allow peace to reign, as any internal strife only serves the interests of those who wish to see the nation fail.
As a steadfast loyalist to both the Kwankwasiyya and Obidient movements, Dr. Kenechukwu appealed to all stakeholders in the five South Eastern states to exercise maximum restraint. He maintained that those fueling division are inadvertently serving the "enemies of our country" and urged all members to prioritize the collective interest of a New Nigeria over political infighting. He warned that at this critical juncture, unity is the only way to safeguard the party's future.
Dr. Kenechukwu who is renowned industrialist reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to ensuring that Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso emerge as the ADC’s standard-bearers. He described the duo as the only leaders possessed of the requisite psyche and mental capability to rescue Nigeria from the grip of greedy merchants who have long held the nation’s progress hostage.
Highlighting the synergy between the Obidient and Kwankwasiyya movements, Dr. Kenechukwu revealed that he has already put strategic machinery in place to drive mass membership registration for the ADC throughout Enugu State. He noted that he must ensure that no Kwankwasiyya member in Enugu State and South East will left out of ADC registration. This mobilization effort is particularly focused in South East where he aims to build a formidable foundation of support while continuing to work toward the ultimate goal of a prosperous and unified Nigeria.
