ADC Governorship Hopeful Dozie Ogenyi Set to Bury Mom on May 1

Invites the good people of Enugu State



A governorship aspirant under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Enugu State, *Hon. Dozie Ogenyi*, has invited friends and well-wishers in the state to the burial/funeral of his mother *Ezinne Comfort Ebam Ogenyi* on Friday, 1st May, 2026, at Mgbuji, Eha-Amufu in Isi-Uzo local government area.


Ezinne Ogenyi died at the age of 93 years.

In a statement, Hon. Ogenyi, a former commissioner for human capital development and poverty reduction, said her mom meant everything to him and was responsible for training him and his siblings in the virtues of hard work, honesty and empathy.


The ADC governorship hopeful stated that the body of his mother will be buried on 1st May after a church service at Agape College arena, by Eha-Amufu Anglican Diocese.


He said his family will be honoured by the presence of ndi Enugu who wish him well in his aspiration to make Enugu State better from 2027.
