The Wisdom of the Sunset Meeting the Strength of the Sunrise - Chief Enwere Samuel Ogbonnaya

My son and our King, Chief Ekenedilichukwu, my eyes have seen many things in Amankanu, but the joy I felt yesterday was unique. When a community stays nine years without a father, the children begin to forget their identity. But as I watched the convoy arrive and heard the drums of the youth, I knew our identity had been reclaimed.

You spoke of being a 'due process man,' and that gives us the elders great peace. We are tired of disputes; we long for the shade of a great tree, and you are that tree. May your reign be like the steady flow of a river-gentle enough to bring peace, but strong enough to carry us toward development. May you live long, and may your wisdom exceed that of the kings before you.
