Eulogies as Father of UNIZIK, MNC Nwofor is laid to rest in Awka

Ozo MNC Nwofor, according to the Anambra State deputy Gov, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, "was a man that identified with the State government's think-home philosophy early.

"From all indication he believed deeply in Anambra State development.

"What with the hospitality industries, petrol stations, factories, and hostels/classrooms,etc.."

The children of the late Ozo Dr MNC Nwofor (Ozo Enyikwonwa of Awka)at the burial ceremony of their father today in Awka.


His burial attracted Nigerians from all walks of life -academia, politicians, manufacturing, business, etc from all states of the federation and overseas.

Nwofor can best be described as the richest and largest in heart. A man of peace and love.

He's literally the father of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK Awka. Same with the Anambra State University of Science and Technology which later translated to UNIZIK.

He donated the initial accommodations for classrooms, offices and residences that enabled them to settle in.

In their words of appreciation, the Head of the family -Barr Chuma Nwofor commended everyone who turned up for the burial ceremony. He reiterated his late father's advice on peace, unity and focus on his legacies to enable them build and expand his achievements.
