ESTMA KENNETH UGWU HONOURED.

The Commander Enugu State Transport Management Authority (ESTMA) was today honoured by the South East Media Forum in Enugu with a Distinguished Merit Award 2025/26 as the winner.

In a Citation read before the Presentation of the Award by the Chairman of the forum Comrade Norbert okolo noted that the saying,when a good Man is in authority the people rejoice aptly Captures the situation today in Enugu Metropolis where the leadership of Kenneth UGWU and his Management have ensured Smooth Vehicular Movement to the applause of the road users.



 The report also stated that under the leadership of the Commander ESTMA is today a reference point in South East and beyond. 

Sanity have been restored on the roads and this have in no Small Way reduced road accidents in the City.

Responding to the Award, Kenneth Said he was very humbled to be recognized by the forum and that he will not fail to follow in the footsteps of his Excellency the Executive Governor of Enugu State Barrister Peter Mbah who have ensured a massive roads infrastructural development in Enugu.

 In a Vote of thanks at the event the Director of finance at the Authority (ESTMA) Mrs Ekwegbo Tochukwu  thanked the Forum for their foresight and calling a Spade a Spade in honouring the workaholic Commander who is always ready to provide a helping hand to the road users. 

She tasked  him to  understand that this Award Should Spur him to more hard work and greater results.
