A New Era for Enugu: Chief Ekene Ekpete Congratulates Newly Inaugurated Commissioners


ENUGU, NIGERIA — Following the official swearing-in of the new state executive council members, prominent community leader Chief Ekene Ekpete has extended his warmest congratulations to the newly inaugurated Commissioners of Enugu State.

In a statement released today, Chief Ekpete hailed the appointments as a clear signal that the current administration is fully committed to the "Tomorrow is Here" mantra. According to him, the selection process proves beyond doubt that His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, is poised and determined to deliver a "New Enugu State."

Chief Ekpete who is the Onodugo 1 of Ohaofia Ndumeze Kingdom, Oduma specifically highlighted two key appointments, describing them as masterful choices for the state’s progress: Hon. COC Egumgbe and Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze.



While the Chief used the phrase "round pegs in square holes" to express their unique fit, his praise centered on their exceptional suitability for their respective roles. 

On Hon. COC Egumgbe: Chief Ekpete lauded him as an "experienced technocrat" whose deep understanding of administrative duties and service delivery will be an asset to the cabinet.

On Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze: He noted that her legal expertise and character make her a perfect fit for the demands of the new administration.

"The Governor has shown great discernment in these choices," Chief Ekpete stated. "By bringing in individuals with proven track records, he is ensuring that the machinery of government runs with precision and empathy for the people."

Reflecting on the direction of the state under the leadership of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Chief Ekpete described the Governor as a "God-sent" to the people of Enugu. He noted that the Governor’s vision for economic disruption and social development is exactly what the state needs at this critical juncture in history. 


Concluding his message, Chief Ekpete offered prayers for the new cabinet members as they begin their journey of public service.. That God grants them the insight to navigate the challenges of governance. For divine safety as they traverse the state to execute their duties.


"It is my prayer that God continues to guide and protect them as they work hand-in-hand with our Governor to build the Enugu of our dreams," he concluded.
