ONODUGO 1 OF OHAOFIA NDUMEZE KINGDOM-ODUMA WELCOMES ANINRI PEOPLE; CALLS FOR MAXIMUM SUPPORT TO GOV. MBAH ADMINISTRATION


ODUMA, ENUGU STATE – As the festive season fills the air with the spirit of homecoming and gratitude, the respected industrialist and community leader, Chief Ekene Ekpete, the Onodugo 1 of Ohaofia Ndumeze Kingdom-Oduma, has issued a warm welcome to the good people of Aninri Local Government Area returning from across the globe.

In a press statement personally signed by Chief Ekpete and made available to newsmen today, the philanthropist and industrial powerhouse expressed his joy at the safety of sons and daughters of Aninri who have traveled to celebrate with their kinsmen. He noted that the festive period is not only a time for celebration but a season for deep reflection on the progress of the community.

Chief Ekpete seized this opportunity to express deep thanks and appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Aninri, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, for his wonderful support work in Aninri. He also praised the PG of Amankanu Autonomous Community, saying, "In few months of your coming to office, you have proved your capability as community leader" 

Central to his message, Chief Ekpete urged the people of Aninri to throw their total and unwavering support behind the administration of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State. "The vision of Governor Peter Mbah for a 'New Enugu State' is one rooted in disruptive innovation and unprecedented economic growth," Chief Ekpete stated. "For Aninri to fully benefit from this developmental trajectory, we must align ourselves with the Governor’s ‘Tomorrow is Here’ philosophy. Our maximum support is not just a political necessity; it is a developmental requirement for our people."

Addressing the security and social conduct of the people during the holidays, the Onodugo 1 charged the youth and elders alike to remain law-abiding. He emphasized that progress can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and mutual respect. "I urge every Aninri son and daughter to be law-abiding and to actively partake in any activity that gears towards the development and progress of our community. We are a people of industry and integrity; let our conduct during this season reflect our highest values," he added.

Chief Ekpete concluded by reaffirming his commitment to the growth of the Amankanu Kingdom and Aninri at large, praying for a hitch-free festive season and a prosperous New Year for all.
