Call for Dr. John Nwokeabia to Join the 2027 Guber Race Thickens as Nsukka Youth Drums Support


As the 2027 gubernatorial elections in Enugu State approach, a growing wave of support is building around Dr. John Nwokeabia, the former Deputy Governorship candidate of the Labour Party. His impressive track record, leadership skills, and commitment to the people of Enugu State irrespective of where you come from have made him the most sought-after candidate for the top Office in the state.


The Nsukka Youth Congress, a socio-cultural organization comprising vibrant youths who have excelled in their various careers, has expressed gratitude for Dr. Nwokeabia's support and is now drumming up backing for his potential candidacy. The Congress President, Rotarian Jude Nonso Igwe, noted that Dr. Nwokeabia's proven leadership abilities were showcased during his tenure as Deputy Governorship candidate, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication to the Labour Party's ideals and the people of Enugu State.



Dr. Nwokeabia is seen as a unifying force, having been instrumental in calling for unity within the Labour Party and emphasizing the importance of putting aside personal differences for the greater good of the party and the state. The Congress Secretary, Dr. John Onyeishi, a medical practitioner in the state, remarked, "As a seasoned politician and technocrat, Dr. Nwokeabia possesses the skills and experience necessary to navigate the complexities of governance and deliver meaningful results."

Dr. Onyeishi further stated, "This time around, I think we have to jettison this archaic political turn-taking and focus on individuals with sound minds ready to genuinely transform our dear state, and Dr. John Nwokeabia is the man."
