In an open declaration at a special reception by Nri community for the APC flagbearers at the weekend, Ukachukwu said he was ready to partner all communities in Anambra State, especially the Nri community towards ensuring the success of the party come November 8, 2025 poll.
The Community in Anaocha Local Government Area has declared its full support for the APC, the party's Governorship candidate-Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and his running mate-Senator Uche Ekwunife in the approaching November 8,2025 election.
Leaders and Stakeholders of Nri, the legendary cradle of the Igbo race had organized a well-attended reception for the APC, her Deputy Governorship candidate, Ekwunife -who is daughter and indigene of the area to express and vouch their support.
Former President General of the community and chairman of the occasion, Chief Kelvin Obiegbunam, acknowledged key invaluable developmental projects attracted to the community by Sen Ekwunife while occupying various political positions in the country.
Chief Obiegbunam described her as a
pragmatic politician who could perfectly fit into the high position.
Another community leader Chief Chuks Emelife, who moved for her adoption by the community, noted that they decided to endorse her as their preferred candidate following her achievements and track record.
He assured of the community's unfilinching support towards the victory of the APC, her Governorship candidate- Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Deputy Governorship Candidate -Senator Ekwunife.
According to Emelife, Anambra State needed team players like Ukachukwu and Ekwunife whose commitment to community service and humanity speak for itself.
Responding, Senator Ekwunife appreciated her community for endorsing her political journey, which she noted, would be beneficial to all.
She admitted that she was touched by their visible unity and optimism, and affirmed that no community would be left behind in the scheme of things the governorship mandate is eventually secured.
She described political party as a vehicle to one's destination, arguing that in politics people should prioritise competence, good governance and public good above any other sentiments.
