ENUGU LABOUR PARTY REMAINS UNWAVERING

 



Despite the trending news about Barrister Chijioke Edeoga, the Labour Party's gubernatorial candidate in Enugu State, returning to the People's Democratic Party, the Labour Party remains unaffected. The party's strong foundation and impact during the last general election have ensured that its key stakeholders remain committed.


A recent investigation revealed that the Labour Party has become a beacon of hope for the masses, thanks in part to Dr. Peter Obi's reaffirmation of his membership. During his visit to Enugu State, Obi emphasized his continued support for the party.


The Labour Party's impressive performance during the last election, led by Deputy Governorship candidate Dr. John Okechukwu Nwokeabia, has endeared the party to the people of Enugu. Despite the ultimate victory of the PDP, the Labour Party's resilience and quality representation have earned it a loyal following.


As one of the party's key stakeholders noted, "There's no cause for alarm, as the main pillars of the Labour Party are still intact, ensuring the party's outstanding performance will continue come 2027.

This was revealed during a media interview with journalists in Awka earlier on Wednesday shortly after the met with some executive members of APGA in Anaocha.
