Peaceland university Enugu was licensed in June 2023.This was after the National Universities Commission (NUC) considered and approved the establishment of full mode of many undergraduate programmes to be run in the university with effect from 2023/2024 academic session. The approval was after a resource verification visit by NUC, carried out by a panel of experts to the proposed academic programmes in the university with a view to assessing the human and material resources available for its establishment.


With its motto: “Integral Human Development”, Peaceland University was established to producing highly dedicated, conscious and efficient manpower for all levels of the nation's workforce. And also prepares its graduating students to fit into the social life of their community and society at large; and to enhance their commitments to national education objectives. In addition, the university was also established to producing graduates with intellectual and professional background adequate for their assignment and makes them adaptable to the changing situation in the life of the nation and the world.

Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences are: Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, International Relations & Diplomacy, Management, Economics, Criminology & Security Studies, Language and Linguistics, Public Administration, Political Science & International Relations; Psychology.  


Faculty of Science and Computing are: Microbiology, Biotechnology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics and Electronics, Industrial Chemistry, Brewing Science & Technology and Science Laboratory Technology.

The founder and funder of Peaceland University is a Swiss Lady, Mama Pia. The Ag Vice Chancellor of the University is Rev. Fr. Dr. Prof. Chidi Leo Ilechukwu. The Registrar is Dr. Patrick Ugwu. The chancellor is Engr. Prince Arthur Eze OFR. The Pro-Chancellor is Rev. Fr. Dr. Prof Felix Ugwozor while Rev. Fr. Prof Obiorah Ike is a member of the Board of Trustees.

  The Leader of Labour Party in Enugu West Dr John Okechukwu Nwokebia has Commended the Labour Party faithful over their Conduct in yesterday's Local government Council Election in Enugu State. Gentlemen of the Labor Party, what the PDP and Enugu State Government did in making sure that the ENSIEC LGA elections were not free and fair did not come as a surprise to us.  They made it known through their agents that they were going to write the results of the elections even before the votes were cast. That was why there were no results sheets delivered in any pooling boot in Enugu State.  This was possible because PDP was the judge and the jury in the conduct of their elections. Police may declare Anambra "monarch" wanted

 From Chuks Collins, Abuja ... frown at his misleading petition against PG The lingering local ruffling of leadership feathers in Alor Commonly, Idemili South Council of Anambra State may have assumed a disturbing dimension. And the hitherto traditional ruler of the community, Chief McAnthony Okonkwo who was dethroned by an Anambra High Court few years ago may be arrested in consequence. Okonkwo had petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Force Headquarters against the President General of Alor, Chief  Emma Ojukwu, alleging amongst other things, that the PG has not been respecting or according him due regard as the traditional ruler of Alor.
