HON CELESTINE CHUKWU WINS LABOUR PARTY CHAIRMANSHIP PRIMARY IN ANINRI LGA.

 


The labour Party in Enugu State yesterday held their Primaries for the Chairmanship Positions in the Seventeen local government across the state.

In Aninri local government the contest was between Hon Celestine  Chukwu and Engr Benjamin Uwakwe.The Process Started with the arrival of the delegates and Executives of the Party in Aninri and othe party stake holders.

 As soon as the Ensiec officials arrived and addressed the audience the voting commenced with out any complaints and in a short while was concluded in a record time.

 Hon Celestine was declared the winner with 30 votes while his opponent scored zero. In his acceptance Speech Hon celestine thanked the  Stakeholders and Executives of Aninri, delegates from the LGA for their efforts to see the conduct of a very successful primary that led to his emergence and Promised to bring everyone on board as with the recent local government autonomy announced by the supreme court will give the chairmen the opportunity to have enough resources to embark on meaningful projects in all the nooks and crannies of the country and in Aninri in Particular.

Hon Chukwu asked for a concerted effort by the labour Party faithful to ensure he succeed in the local government election slated for October this year.He reminded them that from the last election  in Enugu state labour party is the choice of people.
