HON AGANIGBO CHIDOZIE DECLARED LABOUR PARTY CHAIRMANSHIP WINNER FOR AWGU LGA.

 


Ahead of the October Local Government Election in Enugu State the Labour Party yesterday Monday held Primaries across the Seventeen local government Councils in the State to pick their Candidates for the election.

In Awgu local Government area Hon Aganigbo Chiedozie  was declared the winner of the primary when all the delegates Voted for him.

In a carnival like atmosphere devoid of mudslinging associated with such exercise Hon Aganigbo won the heart of all that came to Mmaku Primary School venue of the Primary.

In a victory Speech after the declaration, Hon Aganigbo  addressed the party faithful that thronged the venue of the election and in his amiable Manner began by saying tha Awgu people have spoken in one voice and voted for him as the candidate of the party in the forth coming October election in the State.

You have proved that Awgu people are united with one voice.We Started with nothing but today today we have something,dont get tired,the assurance i am giving is that everyone will participate in this when this journey becomes successful.

Hon Chiedozie went further to state that what our brothers could not achieve we will achieve because the local government autonomy will be the game changer that will bring resources the Chairmen will use to ensure that democratic dividend permeates all over the grass roots across the country and Awgu in particular.

 Governor Otti have set the ball rolling with his performance at Abia state and i believe that is labour Party mantra to take leadership to a new level and we are going to be part of this new Change if we work hard and win the October election as every thing points to the fact that the people are still rooting for the labour party as witnessed in the last general election in Nigeria he concluded.
