CHIEF EMMA OKEKE BAGS ASPE SOCIETY SERVICE AWARD 2024.




The Enugu Sports Club, a high profile arena that has hosted who is who in the old Eastern region came alive Penultimate Thursday afternoon when the Anambra State People living in Enugu(ASPE) organized a well attended Inaugural Lecture and Conferment of Awards to some outstanding individuals who have affected the Society with verifiable achievements.

One of such Awardee was Chief Emmanuel Okeke (onyeomagbuagu na Ekwulobia) the affable Managing Director of Patkez Ventures Ltd and Patkez Properties Ltd based in Enugu.

A Citation read at the occasion described Chief Emmanuel as a great Philanthropist and high Achiever who is currently the Chairman of Ekwulobia Community in Enugu.

In recognition of his laudable Contribution to business Community development was conferred with the ASPE  Society Service Award 2024.

In his reaction the Awardee thanked all the Anambra People in Enugu and also the organisers of the great event.He noted that having been nominated for this Award will ginger him to contribute more to the Society at a faster rate.

The Awardee further thanked all that came from far and wide to witness this auspicious occasion and encourage the Awardees, for him that he was overwhelmed by this kind of Solidarity and for the Awardees that they will be very motivated to increase their effort and do more for the Society.

The event attracted important dignitaries such as Professor Paschal Okolie the former Accountant General of Enugu State who gave the Inaugural Lecture, Lady Mrs Bianca Onoh Ojukwu and many others.A reception was held at the Lawn tennis Section of the recreation Club where guests were treated to Sumptuous meals, drinks and cultural dances to the admiration of those present at the occasion.

DR JOHN NWOKEABIA LAUDS LABOUR PARTY FAITHFUL IN ENUGU STATE.

  The Leader of Labour Party in Enugu West Dr John Okechukwu Nwokebia has Commended the Labour Party faithful over their Conduct in yesterday's Local government Council Election in Enugu State. Gentlemen of the Labor Party, what the PDP and Enugu State Government did in making sure that the ENSIEC LGA elections were not free and fair did not come as a surprise to us.  They made it known through their agents that they were going to write the results of the elections even before the votes were cast. Police may declare Anambra "monarch" wanted

And the hitherto traditional ruler of the community, Chief McAnthony Okonkwo who was dethroned by an Anambra High Court few years ago may be arrested in consequence.
