For the sake of equity and fairness, let's keep partisan politics aside, I call on all the daughters and sons of Udi North to rise to their responsibilities and defend their rights and what is due to the people of Udi North. It will be important to note here that the people of Udi North have been marginalized beyond description and our silence and quietness shouldn't be taken as weakness. This time, nobody can deny the people of Udi North the next Chairman of Udi local government if we must maintain equity and fairness in Udi. 


You can recall that Udi North didn't bring down the house or complain when Udi South took the local government Chairman and party chairman at the same time. What is all this? I must say this to the current Chairman of Udi anybody advising him to go for a second term remains his worst political enemy. 


For the people of Udi, do not sit down and expect power to be given to you. We must rise now to take what belongs to now or never

  The Leader of Labour Party in Enugu West Dr John Okechukwu Nwokebia has Commended the Labour Party faithful over their Conduct in yesterday's Local government Council Election in Enugu State. Gentlemen of the Labor Party, what the PDP and Enugu State Government did in making sure that the ENSIEC LGA elections were not free and fair did not come as a surprise to us.  They made it known through their agents that they were going to write the results of the elections even before the votes were cast. And the hitherto traditional ruler of the community, Chief McAnthony Okonkwo who was dethroned by an Anambra High Court few years ago may be arrested in consequence.
