COMMANDER ESTMA ASSURES MOTORISTS IN ENUGU METROPOLIS.

The Commander Enugu State Transport Authority (ESTMA) Mr Kenneth Aniebonam UGWU has given the Motorists in Enugu Metropolis a firm assurance that hence forth any erring MOT officials who fails to adhere Strictly to the directive from the Ministry of Transport Enugu State Concerning traffic Management will be Sanctioned accordingly. 

The Commander ESTMA Kenneth made this remark during his weekly briefing of Journalists in his office. 

It will be recalled that his Excellency Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah recently approved the recruitment of additional workers to compliment the efforts of the officials who was deemed not enough for the control of the traffic in the Metropolis. 



He further thanked His Excellency for the Provision of equipments to the Ministry for the evacuation of Vehicles that broke down or had accident on the highway which today has given Enugu a new look and daily becoming a reference point in matters concerning free flow of traffic. 

The usual traffic congestion around Holy ghost area,Garriki, Abakpa axis have completely disappeared due to the efforts of the MOT officials following the government's directives on free flow of traffic in the Metropolis.

 The Commander ESTMA Kenneth reiterated the call by the Authority for Motorists in Enugu Metropolis to obey traffic lights and avoid driving against the traffic as this has caused so many accidents that have been fatal. 

A dedicated Phone number have been Provided to enable Motorists have easy access to the Commander who is ever ready to ensure that no motorist is punished unjustly he Concluded.
