Enugu family bids farewell to 110years centenarian patriarch

The Umummadukaihe family of Agungwu village of Ugwuoba community of Enugu State, has bid farewell to their revered patriarch - Chief Nwanna Okafor.

Born to Mr and Mrs. Nwa Okafor, rose from a humble beginning to become a very successful transporter and businessman in Aba, Abia State.

He earned the nickname "Ugonwanna" for his integrity and trustworthiness.

Returning to Ugwuoba in 1967 at the onset of the Nigerian civil war, he took pride in supporting the less privileged, widows, provided employment, and others in need.

A devoted Christian, Chief Okafor was known for his leadership, honesty, and selfless service. His legacy extends beyond his community, inspiring countless lives.

Eulogies and tributes poured in, highlighting his God-fearing nature and Christ-like character. His children remembered him as a role model and disciplinarian.

The funeral rites featured a requiem mass, dance, and condolences from family, friends, and dignitaries.

In his homily Fr. Anthony Chidi Ike during his speech he called him a role model

- " and a good disciplinarian" - Christopher Okefor

- "A kind, generous, and godly man" - Ngozi   Egbunam described her father as kindness generosity father
