LET JUDGMENT RUN DOWN AS WATERS!" IBBN Enugu Declares Spiritual Warfare and 'Hell Fire' Against Powers Holding Nigeria Ransom
ENUGU, NIGERIA—The spiritual atmosphere in Enugu was charged with raw emotion and prophetic decree as the Initiative For Better and Brighter Nigeria (IBBN), Enugu State Chapter, rose in a powerful, two-hour prayer declaration on Friday morning. The crowd stood en masse for over 90 minutes, engaging in intense spiritual warfare against the forces and "cruel leadership" perceived to be holding the nation to ransom. The event, titled 'Rise in Prayer in Defense of True Democracy,' transcended mere petition, culminating in a bold declaration of divine judgment and 'hell fire' against oppressive powers.
The Battle is Not Yours, But God's
Rev. Dr. PraiseGod Edeh, Coordinator of the IBBN, Enugu State Chapter, led the charge. He emphasized that Nigeria's current plight has gone beyond any physical solution, echoing the scripture, "The battle is not yours, but God’s" (2 Chronicles 20:15). "The challenges Nigeria is currently facing have gone beyond physical confrontation or the strength of man but requires spiritual intervention which only God can do," Rev. Dr. Edeh stated. "Prayer remains the key to salvation, and IBBN is here to fill the gap."
Rev. Edeh who is also a pastor with Redeemed Christian Church of God, lauded the masses for their sacrifice, and praised the founder of IBBN, Prophet Isa Buba, stating that courage in the face of bad and cruel leadership is a gift from God, and passionately called on every Nigerian, home and abroad, to stand in unity and solidarity for the salvation and "enthronement of the right leadership to save the dying masses."
Other prominent clergy affirmed the necessity of the spiritual offensive. The PFN Chairman of Enugu South LGA, Pst. Tim Ogbobe noted that Nigeria needs God's intervention "now more than ever," offering fervent prayers for victims of insecurity, bad leadership, and "unconscious leaders."
Rev. Dr. David Ezema, PFN Ward Chairman of Idaw River, affirmed the event's gravity: "This prayer is Germane as the only powerful weapon available to the helpless masses to bring freedom, security, and abundance for millions of people in need."
Also speaking, Apst. Prof. Noble Oji Idika, a founding member of PFN Enugu South and immediate past secretary of PFN, Enugu State Chapter , explained the objective: "The objective of prayer is to call upon the God Almighty to intervene in the pain of Nigerians and put away the devil in the country."
In this same vein, Pst. Mrs. Ndidiamaka Okolo offered a tearful intercession, crying out for the pain of suffering women, particularly in the Northern part of the country. She encouraged women to "draw close to God, even in the face of suffering and insecurity," reminding them to look to God, the Helper of the distressed (Psalm 46:1).
The spiritual declaration concluded with fervent prayers for Prophet Isa Buba, the leader of IBBN, recognizing his prophetic gift and courage to mobilize the nation for divine action.
The message from Enugu is clear: The physical struggle for democracy is now fully dependent on the spiritual war room. The IBBN has thrown down the gauntlet, insisting that only by decreeing "Let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream" (Amos 5:24) will salvation and peace return to the Nigerian nation.
