Soludo, according to Prof. Edoba Omoregie, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State who served as Returning Officer for the election declared the incumbent governor  winner, thereby giving him mandate for a second term, of another four years. The result was announced early this morning, Sunday.
