MEDIA GROUP HONOURS REGISTRAR ESCET ANEkE PATRICK AMECHI.

 A  South East based Media Group has honoured the Ag. Registrar of Enugu State College of  Education Technical Mr Aneke Patrick Amechi with their annual Distinguished Merit Award for his outstanding Commitment to Administration of the College. 



The group South East Media Forum Penultimate Tuesday in Enugu Presented the Award in his office before his Heads of Department in the Registry Division of ESCET. 


In a Citation read at the event by the Zonal Chairman of the Media Group Comrade Okolo Norbert, Aneke Patrick Amechi was described as an Administrator Par excellence for bringing to bear a fresh Perspective to the Management of the College.


 From Processing of registration requests by the Students, general administration of the various departments of the College, Coordinating the Staff performances, Promotions, disciplinary Procedures for non teaching staff have been astounding based on reports of the nomination Committee of the SEMF.


 ESCET  Registry today has become a reference when issues bothering on the Registry departments of Colleges of Education in the South East and beyond are discussed. 


Responding to the  Award he received the amiable Registrar noted that he was Pleasantly surprised when he received the letter from the Media group without knowing that his little efforts in the College was being monitored by the external group. 


He thanked the forum for finding him worthy but noted that the Award was as a result of the cooperation of the members of his division who have always Cooperated to see the division function optimally and to his wife and family for giving him the peace of mind to get his act together.

 Accolades also went to the Provost of the College for her trust in him and encouragement that has ensured the division performed Creditably and for the SUG kudos for their cooperation and understanding. 

For the Executive Governor of Enugu State Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah he thanked God for his outstanding leadership and interest in the Education of Students who are the future of tomorrow he Concluded.

ENUGU MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT BANS TRAFFIC TASKFORCE FROM ALL FEDERAL HIGHWAYS.

  The Enugu State Ministry of Transport has  banned all manner  of Traffic Taskforce officials from federal highways in Enugu Metropolis with immediate effect.  The Press Release which was signed by the Commander Enugu State Traffic Management Authority Mr Kenneth Aniebonam UGWU Stated that fake MOT task force officials have been having a field day but must Stop henceforth as the ministry has Set up a Special task force officials to put an end to this obnoxious Practice that is giving the MOT a bad name before the Public and the Motorists.  The release Stated that the Ministry  taskforce officials have apprehended some of the fake officials while extorting Motorists in Enugu Metropolis recently and are currently facing interrogation and Prosecution.
