By Chuks Collins, Awka June 28,2025 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, has announced the opening of its portal for Continuous Voter Registration (CVR). The disclosure was made during the commission’s quarterly meeting with political parties in Abuja.  According to him, the INEC would re-commence process of registration of potential voters, transfer or replacement of damaged and or lost Permanent Voters Cards(PVC). The program, according to the Commission for Anambra State, will run also on weekends, from July 8-17, 2025. Affected  citizens were required to visit their Ward Collation centres and get registered. The commission's Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Anambra State, will commence on July 8 while the nationwide exercise would begin August 18.
