It really goes without saying that the choice of a consummate politician like Prince Ukachukwu as the flagbearer of APC is very commendable. My heart goes out to the Chukwu family during this incredibly difficult time. The passing of Mrs. Chukwu is a devastating loss, coming on the heels of the tragic assassination of her beloved husband, Barrister Oyibo Chukwu. Barrister Chukwu's untimely death shocked the nation and particularly members of the Labour Party, but his legacy lives on through the remarkable resilience of his family. Despite her own health challenges, Mrs. Chukwu's spirit remained unbroken, and her passing marks the end of a chapter in the family's journey of grief. I commend the family's strength and courage in the face of unimaginable pain. May the memories of Barrister Oyibo and Mrs. Chukwu bring you comfort, and may their legacy continue to inspire and uplift you. Just like the legendary Sambisa forest which our leaders and security chiefs made us believe is larger than Nigeria, hence cannot be swept by ground or aerial combat. But one need to ask who actually benefits from our insecurity? A tearful message from his campaign headquarters signed by one of his aides, Dr Kingsley Ezekwelu focused particularly on the State Police Command that lost some gallant officers on active duty. It also condoled with the Iloakasia Family and the Aguleri Community whose President General,  Barrister Ifeanyi Iloakasia was assassinated by the gunmen alongside another friend who rode with him after a court session at the Aguata High Court.
