The worst hit were Awka North, Oyi, Ayamelum, Anambra East and West Council areas. Others include the Orumba North and South axis of the State. Blame internal wranglings, instability  The membership rank of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State has continued to swell, as key and critical stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anaocha Local Government Area of the state have dumped PD for APGA. This was revealed during a media interview with journalists in Awka earlier on Wednesday shortly after the met with some executive members of APGA in Anaocha. The need for the sudden move, according to Chief Adilieje was as a result of the myriad of problem currently rocking the very foundation of PDP from State, Zonal and National levels.
